All NeroX™ tubs and basins include the NanoGuard™ antigraffiti and antimicrobial protection, to ensure outstanding everyday performance. The nanotechnology-based liquid polymer is applied to the NeroX™surface, creating an invisible protective layer against minor scratches and harsh chemicals.
What is NeroX™?
NeroX™ is an inert, hygienic, non-porous, hypoallergenic, non-toxic and 100% recyclable stone composite material.
This cutting-edge material perfectly combines Hematite and Boehmite minerals with state-of-the-art acrylic modified resins and high-purity carbon black pigment. We created a visually stunning and highly desirable, technologically advanced black solid surface material, using a high-speed, vacuum assisted, dispersion and mixing method.
Premium Texture
An elegant matte finish with a smooth texture, which is warm and pleasant to touch. This is the closest reproduction of a natural stone surface.
Durable
If maintained properly, NeroX™ tubs and basins can outlast any other black sanitaryware. Damage can be easily repaired by a specialized technician using our supplied repair kit.

Just like AquateX™, NeroX™ is an innovatively ground-breaking and fully recyclable material.
Fire & Heat Resistant
NeroX™ can be used in areas with higher fire safety requirements. The surface won't lose its quality or properties, even at 100ºC. If NeroX™ is burnt - the material produces a fire extinguishing liquid.
Safe & Harmless
NeroX™ is an inert, safe and non-toxic material, which does not react to any nearby chemicals. Thanks to its composition and smooth seamless structure, it has inherent antimicrobial characteristics.
Easier Cleaning Than Any Other Black Stone Sanitaryware
NeroX™ can be cleaned and restored with an abrasive detergent and a microfiber cloth. A simple, periodic treatment with Nanowax acts as a protective barrier against stains, and wear and tear.
UV-Resistant
While designed primarily for indoor use, NeroX™ is UV stabilized and blushing resistant. It could be placed on shaded terraces or balconies for occasional outdoor use.*
*Despite being UV stabilized, NeroX™ has demonstrated extreme sensibility to direct UV rays. We do not recommend NeroX™ for outdoor use, unless shaded from direct sunlight and/or covered during the non-use.
**While the physical properties of AquateX™ are not adversely affected by outdoor exposure, surface gloss might be reduced and some colour changes may be observed over time.
***These changes can be removed by periodic sanding, but this refurbishing step is not always practical
****AquateX™ and NeroX™ bathtubs must not be used with hot water under freezing subzero (anything of 0ºC or under 0ºC) air temperatures.
*****The temperature difference between the air (room) temperature and the water temperature inside the tub must never exceed 40ºC (105ºF).
******Please note that some colours perform better than others in terms of weather resistance and fading.
