A Hand-Crafted Finish In Any RAL Color Or With A Metal Surface Liquid Coating
A colored finish provides a myriad of interior design opportunities. Color makes a product truly unique, expressing a distinctive character and style. Products can be painted in any color from the RAL chart, or with a metallic surface liquid coating. The bathtub or washbasin features the selected coating or color on the exterior, while maintaining a sleek white AquateX™ or black NeroX™ interior. Our craftsmen apply several coatings of paint to thoroughly protect the product, increase durability and ensure optimum color retention. We work closely with clients, making sure they find the best colors and high-quality finishes for their products.
How Is The Paint Applied?
Coating is applied to a clean product surface. It is left to dry at a uniform temperature in a special curing chamber for not less than 12 hours. Our specialists then conduct a visual check to make sure the product is truly flawless, before commencing the polishing stage. After the product is polished, another visual check is made. A special varnish is later applied, which is left to dry for approximately 8 to 12 hours.

What Is MetalX™?
Aquatica’s MetalX™ liquid surface coatings consist of 95% recycled metal powder and 5% proprietary resin binder. Aquatica’s experienced craftsmen combine various metal powders to achieve a stunning liquid metal paint finish such as gold, gunmetal or titanium. This is later blended with our proprietary resin binder system to produce a liquid metal coating that can be applied to the surface. Aquatica’s master craftsman then cures, brushes and covers the surface with a clear protective lacquer coating to eliminate oxidation.
