This time we would like to tell you about our progress with luxury metallic bathroom surfaces! These are the most unique and exclusive bathtub, and washbasin surfaces one has ever seen!
How to create luxurious metallic surfaces while retaining AquateX™ and NeroX™ modern composite for the bathing well?
Being modern composite materials, AquateX™ and NeroX™ baths are warm and considerably more pleasant to the touch than their steel counterparts. There is nothing like a nice warm relaxing soak in the cold, winter months, and lying back on cold, hard steel is not the same.
Lightweight bathtubs made of AquateX™ and NeroX™ composites offer the greatest design flexibility because they can be molded into practically into any imaginable shape. AquateX™ and NeroX™ is warm to the touch and insulates well, so water doesn't cool as fast as in outdated steel-enamel bathtubs (sometimes also referred to as porcelain or porcelain enamel tubs) or cast-iron bathtubs. Note - steel-enamel baths have nothing to do with porcelain.
We offer real metal coatings for our bathtubs, washbasins, and furnishing elements, which consist of 95% recycled metal powder and 5% proprietary resin binder. We named this product MetalX™ Surfaces .
Our MetalX™ Surfaces concept is similar to the wood veneer concept in modern furnishings. Instead of wasting large solid wood logs to make furniture parts, fast-growing plantation wood is sliced, cut, and joined in imitating various natural wood grain patterns applied to MDF or chipboard surfaces to achieve natural wood-like appearance.
Similarly, MetalX™ Surfaces are created by combining various recycled metal powders to achieve the desired metal appearance (e.g., gold, gunmetal, titanium) and blending with our proprietary resin binder system to create a liquid metal coating that can be applied to our bathtub and washbasin surfaces, cured, brushed by our master craftsmen and covered with a clear protective lacquer coat to eliminate oxidation.
After surface metallization, our bathtub and washbasin surfaces have all the visual and physical properties of cast or sheet metal (e.g. gloss and heat conduction).
Our specialty metal surfaces are extremely versatile and stand out for their high-quality appearances where the looks and quality craftsmanship mean everything and provide our interior decorator, architect, interior designer and specifier clientele with the opportunity for limitless creative, highly personalized design options.
We want to introduce you to the creative bathroom design possibilities that our metallization technology provides and hope that this short blog entry can be a source of inspiration for your imagination and creativity.
